We visited the doctor today for Maddy's 15 month check up. We are a couple weeks late because of strep throat and then vacation. Maddy weighed in at exactly 27lbs (95%) and is 32 1/2 inches tall (95%). Doctor checked her all over and said she looks great! He said that he guessed eating wasn't an issue and laughed.
He also asked what kind of words she was saying and how many. I told him we had wrote a list of her 42 different words that she says pretty consistently. He said "You mean she repeats after you, right?" No those are the words she says on her own but she can repeat almost anything. He said at this age he is really happy with a handful of words. If you are wondering what those 42 words are: momma, daddy, doggy, cat, kitty, thanks, milk, cracker, cookie(this can mean cookie or any food she doesn't know the name of), please, ya, no, nose, eyes, book, duck, truck, whoa, grandma, don't, eat, binky, that, baby doll, where, go, cow, yuck, hot, keys, water, ball, Cleo, Nola, Logan, Matt, hi, bye bye, teeth(this means she wants to brush her teeth), noodles and banana.
Now obviously these words are not all as clear as we say them but you know what she is saying. When she is not saying her words she is talking Maddy language constantly.
