Cookies

My daughter was sick last night can you tell? I called off work today because Maddy was feeling so yucky last night. Guess what...she's feeling pretty good today and she wanted to bake cookies (break and bake kind) so we did it. Why is it that the 16 minutes it takes for cookies to bake seems like an eternity when you are little?

Soccer

We started Maddy in a soccer beginners class. They play games that teach soccer skills and they run a lot! Maddy seems to really enjoy it and is actually pretty good. She has good control of the ball while she is running and can pass with pretty good accuracy. Above all else...they look SO cute when they warm up and stretch.

Bath Tub Crayons

The other day at Target we picked up some bath tub crayons for Maddy. She loves coloring with them and tonight I was showing her how to draw a flower. She did an awesome job! She can also draw a pretty cute face.

Family Reunion

Every year our extended family gets together for a reunion. This crazy lion has been outside this building since I was a kid and I had quite a few pictures taken on top of it. It's fun to see your own child enjoying something that you also loved as a kid. Maddy is in love with her cousin Hannah and is always excited to see her. My big stuff is also getting to be a rock star at writing her name!

Little Miss Mismatched

In Florida we bought Madylin these adorable socks and she finally got a chance to wear them. She lloked so cute I had to take her picture.

Planting Tulips

My mom is the best and she came over today and planted my tulips for me. Maddy had a blast helping out. Now if I can convince her not to pick them all:)
