Tummy Time

Miles is starting to enjoy some tummy time. It's even more fun when sissy and Logan get down there too!

Chicago

The kids an I ventured up to Chicago to visit family and visit a few museums. This was Miles' first big road trip. I would love to say that he did a super job in the car but...NO. 6 hours is a long time to be strapped down. He could hear me but couldn't see me. Thank goodness for Uncle Luke who could keep him a little calmer. So add crying, a blown out diaper half way there, trying to nurse in a crowded McDonald's and a six year old that would like him to stop so she can hear her movie and let's just say I was relieved to finally make it! We had a great time while we were there. I have always loved the Shedd Aquarium and knew Mady would too! On our trip Miles slept through the night for the first time! It was a total fluke but the extra rest was nice.

Miles got to try some oatmeal cereal today. He really liked it and big sister liked helping feed him.

Miles' First Shriner's Parade

Tonight we attended The Shriner's Parade. This parade is a family tradition and I can't remember the last time we missed one. It was Miles' first time and well he wasn't all that impressed, but Mady loved it as always. For a year that has been SO hot, it was actually cold tonight. Who wears sweatshirts in June!
