Bike Riding

Last summer we tried to get Madylin to learn how to ride a bike. We thought she would enjoy riding along while we walk Nola or when we head to the park. She would have none of it! She would pedal a few times and then say she was done and run off to play in the yard. As soon as we had a nice day we tried again! She wanted to ride her scooter out in the street and I may have fibbed and said the street was only for bike riding:) It worked like a charm! The first day she was still pretty rough but by the third day she was FAST! She even rode her bike to the park this weekend and all the way home. She is really hoping she can get a princess bike for her birthday...guess we will have to wait a see.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Mady and Daddy had a date tonight:) She was so excited to go to the Daddy Daughter dance. After they returned and we got Mady to bed I got the scoop. The daddy daughter dance is actually a room of screaming running girls (I could have told you that). Mady and daddy did dance a little though and Madylin had a blast!
