Logan's Visit

On Tuesday Logan came to spend the day with Mad and Daddy. We weren't sure what Logan would think about spending the day somewhere new but after a few worried minutes he settled in and had a great day. Maddy really liked having her buddy over. She sure loves her Logan.

Logan thought Nola was pretty neat and Nola loved having another baby to kiss.

Who could resist this guy!!!

Cousins Ty and Clay

We are so excited cousins Ty and Clay ( Great Auntie Audrey too!) have come to visit from Canada. They came out for dinner and got to come and play for awhile. We hope to take Maddy up some day to meet everyone else.

Ty pauses for a quick picture.

Clay checks out some of Maddy's toys.

Maddy will have her cake and eat it too!

Saturday we had Maddy's 1 year pictures taken. The photographers were wonderful and we had a great time. We will not get all of our proofs back for 2 weeks but they did put two up on their blog (they spelled her name wrong though-guess she will have to get used to that). After seeing just these two I can't wait for the rest!

Scroll down to see 2 of our proofs here

The Best Toys in Life are Free

It's a good thing we buy and receive so many great toys for our sweet little girl. In the pictures you can see a few of her favorites.

Maddy Hearts Nuks

Today Maddy was feeling pretty yucky. She was running a fever and just walking around the house crying. Daddy and I just couldn't find anything to make it better so we resorted to our last trick, the nuks. Maddy only gets her nuks in bed and in the car but today we made an exception. Notice that one just won't do.

She looks really sick doesn't she

11 Months Old!!!

Do you remember when I was 11 days old or 11 weeks old!

This month sure seemed to fly by fast. Maddy got two new teeth, pretty much gave up baby food (at home anyways), loves to drink out of her straw cup and has gotten to be quite a walker. She has known how to wave for a long time but now she waves at everyone. We were eating lunch and she just kept waving at everyone at the table, the people going by and just anyone that would look. It is of course this totally exacerbated, cute wave so we can't help but laugh. I'm not sure if I can believe that our little baby is going to be one in a month. I remember when I had 1 month left of pregnancy and it took forever, this has just gone by too fast.

This video is from a couple of days ago. It is amazing how much better they get each day, now she hardly falls down and flies through the house and even tries to step over Nola (this doesn't usually work out in her favor). This video is pretty long but you can see her walk, fall down, read books, say Moo and wave.

We are so lucky to have such a super girl! Love Ya Maddy Moo!

And We Were Swingin'

After such a long stretch of cold weather we were excited to have such a gorgeous day. Nola was in desperate need of a walk so when I got home from work we leashed the dog and took a walk around town and up to Elm Street Park. Maddy got to swing while Nola chased sticks. I'm pretty sure they both had a great time.

For this face I could push the swing forever!

We also did a little sliding.

I can't wait for spring!

I can do it myself!

I'm not really sure when it happened but the little baby that needed me to do everything is now a toddler who can do it herself! Just try to feed her a bite and out it comes, then she will pick it up herself and eat it. She also tries to put on our own socks (by laying them on top of her feet) which I have to say is the cutest! She has to turn the pages in her books and she often jsut sits and reads them to herself. Tonight she was reading her book and just started laughing at the pictures as she turned the pages. I thought Brian and I were just going to melt on the spot. Slow down big stuff your growing up too fast!

Don't you love the cottage cheese face!
