Maddy is 6 months old today! I believe it was only yesterday when I posted her 5 month old pictures. This month has been very busy. Mommy went back to work on August 15th after spending 3 months at home with Maddy. It was very hard for Mommy at first but is slowly getting better. Maddy has done great at Grandma's and is very excited when Mommy comes to pick her up. She has finally started reaching for people when she wants them to hold her, it is so cute! She has also found out that she can scream, not out of anger but just for fun. It is so loud that it actually hurts your ears. Daddy and I can't wait until she finds a new talent to practice. After 6 months we finally have a napper. Hurray!!! Maddy takes a long morning nap around 8:30 and another long nap around 12:30 and then a short nap around 3:30. We are so happy and so is she. She goes to bed around 8 and sleeps to 6:30 almost every night. We are still patiently waiting for teeth, but we do think they are on their way.
This month Maddy pretty much perfected the art of sitting. We usually put a pillow behind just in case but she will sit up and play almost all evening.
Every once in awhile she will get excited and tumble over.
Maddy loves to sit up so much that she even wants to sit up in her tub. Let me tell you this makes for a lot of splashed water and a very interesting hair washing.
This would be why we are going to buy a bathtub seat!
