Tonight we headed to my school to attend the Parents as Teachers family fun night. We enjoyed a hot dog, fruit and goldfish dinner before checking out all the crafts. In the same room where we ate a reptile man was there. They had two snakes for the kids to touch and hold. It should not come as any surprise that Maddy walked right up and grabbed a hold of the snake. She didn't want to let go. She loved him. Once we pried her away from the little snake she got to pet the huge snake and it was enormous! I would say it was every bit of 6 feet long. The handler had the big snake rest it's head on top of Maddy's head. I wasn't fast enough to catch a pic of that.
After we looked at a chameleon and a tarantula we moved down the hall to the activity rooms. Maddy had fun making a rainbow fish and a starfish. Her favorite part is painting on the glue. She started to make an octopus put she crumpled up his legs and moved on.
We moved on to the other room where Maddy played with blue shaving cream. She had a blast and had it all the way up her arms and in her hair. We had time to get a fish tattoo and play in the house center. Maddy did a great job feeding and rocking a baby. We loaded up at 7 and headed over to the other school to the Ice Cream Social. Maddy loved her chocolate sundae with sprinkles and danced a bit to the music coming from the band concert before we called it a night.
