We had to replace this grandfather clock this week. The old one, which was a wedding gift from Katie and Bob so it was all of three years old, had some design problems that caused it to rattle when it chimed. EVERY time it chimed. So, rather than be driven mad(der?) we stopped it.
The clock shop fixed it twice and replaced it once in the last three years and when we called the fourth time the only option was to replace it with a different design altogether.
