My school has skating parties once a month at Fun Spot. I decided to be brave and take Madylin for the first time. Even knowing how crazy my child is I resisted the urge to make her wear her bike helmet:) She did a really great job and they have a walker that you can roll in front of you to help you keep your balance. This was perfect because you know I was not allowed to help! I did not rent skates thinking she would need me stable but she really wanted to go on the big floor so I promised that next time I will skate too.
