Every year the MCS faculty and staff play wheelchair basketball against the St. Louis Rolling Rams team. The game is a fundraiser for the team to help buy chairs for their players and to help pay for them to travel to tournaments around the country. It is always a lot of fun and for a really great cause. One of our eight grade students is a member of the team and he is really great. Actually they are all really great! They have a third grader on their team that looks so cute but he can block better than I have ever seen.
Maddy put on her Panther Pride and came with Daddy to cheer me on.
Some of my students showed up to cheer me on too. Sorry for the poor quality but it was taken from the other side of the gym! The other side of the sign read Mrs. Horvath for MVP.
I think the score ended up being 58 to 16 and no we were not the high score. I did however make a basket which even on two feet is pretty lucky for me!
