This weekend we made our annual trip to Champaign to meet up with the McCartys. We left around 7:30pm Friday night and Maddy slept the entire drive. She woke up at the hotel to meet all of her family members who had been dieing to meet her. We got tucked into bed around 11:00 and Maddy slept until 4:30. I heard her stirring and she sat up looked around confused and started to cry. We tried to settle her down but at last we just plopped her into bed with us and that seemed to do the trick. We headed out Saturday to the Reindeer Farm. It was ok, certainly not Eckert's! Saturday night went about the same as Friday night but because of the time change our little monkey was awake at 4:30!!! Luckily we got to get a little nap in the chair until about 7. Maddy took her afternoon nap on the car ride home, only waking to take a quick bottle.
Boot Hill was actually pretty neat. You could really see a long way. The only thing to really see was corn fields but it's something.

I think we may have packed our entire toy supply. I think the table and her jingle ball would have kept her pretty entertained.
All in all she did great. Our cousins kept saying how good natured she was and couldn't believe that she could sit in a restaurant for almost 2 hours content. Well we think she is pretty great too! See all you McCartys next year.
